Quick Note: Recaps will be finished up by Friday. World Championship stuff tomorrow.
(1) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (7) Ottawa Senators
DIE SENS DIE! Sorry, still bitter since last week. Since Vokoun is now the Penguins starter, really can't see a total meltdown by them. Anderson will definitely have his work cut out for him if the Senators aren't able to produce offensively. Pittsburgh in 4.
(4) Boston Bruins vs. (6) New York Rangers
Now that they aren't favouring the Leafs I can pick against them. Lundqvist will have to play like he did in his last two games to keep the Rangers in this series. The Bruins will likely win, but I just can't pick them. New York in 7.
(1) Chicago Blackhawks vs. (7) Detroit Red Wings
It's hard to see the Blackhawks faltering in this series. Detroit is coming off a long series in which they just got by. The Red Wings might be able to steal a game or two (like I said they just know how to win), but the Blackhawks are just too good and too dominate this year to go down this soon. Chicago in 5.
(5) Los Angeles Kings vs. (6) San Jose Sharks
I really want the Sharks to win. I really, really do. The Kings are a really (ok I'll stop) good team and are poised to defend the cup. While the Kings did have the tougher first round, they are a team that can turn it on if they want. Quick has been sort of shaky though, whereas Niemi is pretty damn consistent. Gut feeling is the King win, but screw that. San Jose in 7.
