Pre-Tournament Prognosis

Canada: Lead us to gold McJesus, you are Canada's only hope (and Drouin...and a few others).

Czech Republic: Will most likely get through to the Quarter Finals, but not much farther.

Germany: Without looking at the roster, they would be this group's punching bag. Looking at it now, they look to have an outside shot at that third spot. Will probably finish the tournament fighting to avoid relegation.

Slovakia: Looking to finish in that 3rd spot to avoid the relegation round. Will still be in tough to beat neighbouring Czech Republic.

United States: Quite a bit of turnover from last year's Gold medal team. Still look to be competitive.

Predictions

Brad

1 - Canada
2 - United States
3 - Czech Republic
4 - Slovakia
5 - Germany

MDK

1 - Canada
2 - United States
3 - Czech Republic
4 - Slovakia
5 - Germany
